Well, because I have gone through a change of computers, re-installing everything I can think of that I need, and getting things how I want, I have had to fix/change a few things regarding my site. I am a little frustrated with the change, but there will always be a little pain in that regard. Anyway, I have taken down my genealogy files for the time being. Sorry to fellow searchers. Somehow files got duplicated and I can't figure out how to merge individuals without creating yet another duplicate. It doesn't make sense as with "Merge", it is suppose to put duplicate individuals together as one. grrrrr. Maybe now with a new PAF downloaded I can get it to work right. I promise to work on it soon. If you have questions, feel free to contact me.

I have put up a page that pulls at my heart strings: my passion for the plight of animals, especially horses. I support several organizations based on the how they operate and the good that they do. I think that some of the more "shocking" organizations have their place, but the ones I have listed on this page have my peaceful heart.

I went through and reworked my genealogy files. I think there were some new entries and updates. Also, for those that are able to figure out where, I have put up a link for downloading. It's not noticeable at first however. If you seek, you will find, but I won't tell you where.

I have finished the installments of A Knitted Mystery. Those who have created this project will find that they have made something quite handy and easy. I have also added instructions for a lining, and suggestions for possible embellishing if desired. My biggest pet peeve with handbags when they are felted, is getting wool hairs stuck in my chapstick. This is one of the reasons I like to finish with a handbag lining. Another is, that it just feels more "finished" and "professional" with that extra touch.

I have a new venture that I am excited about. I have decided to begin publishing patterns. They will be free initially, and then after 60 days they will have a cost. I am considering creating kits with the patterns, but I need to know interest first. One other thing that I will be offering, are purse components such as handles and frames. I have a hard time finding what I am looking for at the general craft stores, but know that I can purchase them wholesale as a small business. In time I should have inventory available and will post when that happens. I am looking forward to finally getting my business off the ground after a year of planning and playing with the notion. Hopefully it wont be more trouble than not :-)

I have created a "Family Album" page. So far, not a lot is on the page but pictures of our three cats (of which two are no longer with us). But in case you are nosey about us, there should be more up in time :-)

I have decided to list books on half.com. I am not positive how this works, I have never used that service before, so we shall see! I didn't have a lot of luck selling on eBay... it seems like it has really become saturated with dealers rather than the "garage sale" type atmosphere. I had better luck when I first started out.
