On my creations....

This is a sampling of quilts that I had pictures of.   In time I will add others, and perhaps divide this section up further.  The majority of quilts posted now, are at least 2-3 years old at this point (2004).   Each quilt contains a lesson for me, and with each one my skills have grown (basic, composition, technique, you name it!).   Some have been successful, others can be questionable! 

On deciding what a weed is...

I am sure all quilters have "questionable/ugly" quilts (or any type of art)  in their collection, but I can just about guarantee that these "questionable" quilts taught that individual something. My problem is LEARNING from the experience... sometimes I get it, sometimes I don't.  Sometimes the "questionable" creations spawn works that wouldn't have been successful otherwise!  So when you feel that your work isn't "good enough", always ask yourself if you enjoy the process regardless.  If the answer is yes, then don't worry about it!   It's all in the eye of the beholder.  Enjoy :-)
