My Studio
Kevin finished my studio this summer! I am so thrilled to be back in my own space again.
This room was the family room, but it was divided into a bathroom/laundry room and my studio. It was easily a year for the process since it was done all on our own. There are just a few minor fixes to do (crown molding, some painting, mounting the TV on the wall, etc), but I can now use it. It’s such a warm space too… very inviting. The color I chose is a very light pale green, I also found some beaded shears for the window, and the carpeting was a deal since we installed it on our own (and it’s Mohawk! Warranted, etc!), it’s so comfy in there! In regards to painting, we’ll see how I deal with not spilling/dripping, but so far I have done a little bit with inks on my dad’s drafting table with no problems. I know down the road I am going to have to come up with a solution for not ruining the carpet.
