On What a half-hog looks like

What a half a hog looks like
What did I get from a ("sustainably-raised, natural") half-hog? For starters, the weight is around 60 lbs total. Weights listed are approx, but they vary:
8 pkgs chops (16 chops, 1lb ea pkg)
2 Hams (5-7lbs ea)
3 shoulder roasts (3.5 ea)
1 loin roast (3.5lbs)
2 pkg country style ribs (2lbs ea)
1 pkg spare ribs (3lbs)
1 pkg hock (2.5lbs)
1 tenderloin (1lb)
2 pkg bratwurst sausage links (1lb ea)
2 pkg sweet Italian links (1lbs ea)
8 pkg bacon (1lb ea)
4 pkg breakfast sausage (1lb ea)

Unfortunately the farm I was hoping to buy from has sold out for this year. But I am on the list for next year. I went through Thundering Hooves for this pork. I also had to add some of their yummy beef jerky to my order too. Delish!

Speaking of hogs, if you would like a good chuckle, read some of the posts from this blog: Sugar Mountain Farm The Wife Swap post had me in stitches!

Next I am on to the triangles. I am thinking that I need to plan out the fabrics for those before I start. I still have quite a bit of fabrics left over from the blocks, but I am so tired of looking at a few of the prints. I may have to add in a few other reprints that I bought a few months ago. If I do 7-8 triangles till the end of the year, I could be finished with the top in December. If I aim for 10 a month, I might be better off (since Procrastinator is my middle name!).
